Location Gallery

need help figuring out the best spot for your session? Browse around and see what location calls to you. All the photos here are taken by me at locations throughout Ozaukee, Washington or Milwaukee counties. If you choose a location outside of these counties, additional travel fees will be added to your session fee. Additionally, any parking, entrance and/or photography permit fees for all parties (including the photographer) will also be added to the session fee. Notification of additional fees are always communicated and confirmed before client is billed.

Clients must select a location at least two weeks prior to their session date, as a pre-session walk-through is essential to confirm shooting conditions and allow for location change if necessary due to weather-related damage (flooding, trees down, fire), construction, private venues/festivals or other closures, etc.

Covered Bridge Park | Cedarburg

we are so lucky to have one of the few remaining covered bridges in Wisconsin right here in Ozaukee County. The Milwaukee River flows under the bridge and over another arched footbridge as it winds its way through the park. Although the park may be small, the looks are big with the two bridges, river, wildflower patches and willows. And their newly installed pavilion with public bathrooms make clothing changes so much easier now.

Concordia University | Mequon

The 200+ steps staircase surrounded by native grasses and wildflowers takes you down the bluff to beautiful Lake Michigan. Continue along the crushed stone path that winds along the rocky breakwater shore and ends at a beautiful sand beach with lots of driftwood. So many looks in just one spot! But please note, no dogs are allowed, there are no public bathrooms or other place for wardrobe changes and going back up the steps is definitely a serious workout!

Doctor's Park | Shorewood

Another great spot for both woods, grasses & wildflowers with steps and a paved road that take you down to sandy beach along Lake Michigan. Also a nice playground for those family sessions when the kids need to run off some pent up energy in between shots.

A steel bridge, the Milwaukee River and a great playground area make this a really versatile locale. Pavilion with public bathrooms too for privacy during outfit changes.

Lion's Den Gorge | Grafton

Milwauke Art Museum | Milwaukee

with it’s white steel-and-concrete form reminiscent of a ship, and the sail-like Calatrava set on the shores of Lake Michigan, this building creates a stunning backdrop for any session. It is linked directly to Wisconsin Avenue via a cable-stay footbridge that leads to Museum Center Park and the easily identified orange steel sculpture “The Calling.” There are also water features near the front entrance as well, including a spraying fountain. A photography permit is needed for any photos inside the building.

Milwaukee's Riverwalk & Third Ward | Milwaukee

If an urban vibe is what you are looking for, this is it! So many great spots along the riverwalk, especially at Water & Buffalo streets, and the alleyways throughout the third ward have so many different textures, colors and clean lines that compliment any photo.

A hidden gem off of Brown Deer Road just west of Green Bay Road. Ponds, native grasses, wildflowers and a crushed gravel path that surrounds it all make this a perfect spot. There are rarely used RR tracks that can also be utilized for the stereotypical rail shot.

Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum | Milwaukee

an Italian Renaissance-style home on a bluff above Lake Michigan. The house provide beautiful stone and brick backdrops with it’s patio views overlooking the lake. The meticulously groomed gardens and water features add to the charm of this location. Photography permit must be obtained and this popular location is often closed for special events, so deciding on/booking this venue must be done at least 3-4 weeks ahead of the preferred session date.

Village Park (also known as Fireman's Park) & Thiensville Mill | Thiensville

The crushed gravel path surrounded by native grasses, trees and wildflowers winds along past a pond and over to Thiensville Mill. The park playground is great for capturing kids in their element.

the new stairs providing access to the beach made this great park even greater. But like Concordia, the climb back up the 200+ stairs is definitely a workout! Stunning lake views from the bluff, beautiful paths that wind through tall pines and rolling meadows filled with wildflowers. No wonder this is one of my most popular spots!
